I grew up right here in Boothbay Harbor, and it’s always been home to me. My family used to run a restaurant in town, and being part of that shaped a lot of who I am today. These days, when I’m not taking care of the cottages, I love spending time in my gardens, looking after my animals, and enjoying the water with my husband, Tom.
What I enjoy most about hosting is seeing how much people fall in love with this place. There’s just something special about Boothbay Harbor—it has a way of staying with you. A lot of our guests start thinking about coming back before their trip is even over.
Tom and I raised our kids, Jordan and Sarah, here, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and safe, with so much to explore. The ocean is always changing, and there’s always something to see, from boats to wildlife. It’s the kind of place where you can really slow down and take a break from everyday life.
This place has been part of my family for generations—my grandparents loved it just as much as I do. I still think about the stories they shared, and it means a lot to me to be able to share this special place with others.
